Before the Hardest Day
When Musa (AS) was told to go stand in front of Pharaoh — a king, an army, a lifetime of power — he didn't ask for the confrontation to be cancelled. He asked for his chest to be widened and his affair made easy. He asked for capacity, not escape.
There's something worth sitting with in that: the biggest tasks in the Qur'an aren't met with requests for the mountain to move, but for the strength to face it. Right before something feels too big to start — this is the one to say.
